Michaela did an incredible job on my quilt! The pattern we chose was perfect! I have since brought her a number of quilts and she always has great ideas and does a very professional job…
The last time I was in her shop Michaela mentioned that she rents out her longarm quilting machine. I thought how exciting it would be to do my own quilt and so I booked a training session. At first, I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed. I have never done any free motion quilting before. She covered everything… what kind of batting will produce different results, thread choice, loading the machine, and quilting. She reviewed tension, basting, different patterns, stitch length etc… It was so exciting! Then I rented the machine for a couple of hours and practiced. I spent the next day working on my first quilt. Michaela was there every step of the way. She helped me do my set up and as I began working on the quilt I had lots of questions and she was there to answer all of them. After a few hours I felt like I was able to be more independent.
What I think set her rental apart for others is that she comes with it! I feel so fortunate to have found her …and her machine.… I can not wait to have time to get back on her machine.
